Muscat: Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Friday issued a new circular for All Airlines Operating in the Sultanate
In the Circular said CAA: Based on the decision made by the Supreme Committee for dealing with (Covid-19) issued on 16th July2021, and in coordination with the Medical Response and Public Health Sector, the Civil Aviation Authority would like to inform all airlines operating into the Sultanate that has been decided the following:
The Republic of Singapore and Brunei Darussalam are removed from the list of countries from which entry of arrivals to the Sultanate is forbidden, effective at 17:00 (Oman local time) on Monday, 19th July 2021.
The amended list of countries from which passengers travel to the Sultanate are prohibited includes: Sudan, Brazil, Nigeria, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Iraq, Iran, Tunisia, Libya, Argentina, Colombia, and arrivals from any other country if they have passed through any of aforementioned countries during the previous 14 days preceding their requires to enter the Sultanate.
Omani Citizens, diplomats, healthcare workers and their families are exempted from the restrictions of arriving to the Sultanate from the countries listed in item (2) above and will be subject to the approved procedures upon arrival. Said in the statement CAA
