Muscat: Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Monday issued weather report (1) on Tropical depression
In a statement CAA said: “The latest weather maps and analysis of the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Center indicate the formation of tropical depression south east of Arabian Sea and it lay centered on latitude 10.9N and longitude 66.2E, wind speed around its center is estimated between 17 and 27 knots. It is likely to intensify to depression during the next 24 hours with no direct impact on Sultanate of Oman weather within the next 5 days.
Civil Aviation Authority advices all to follow the issued weather bulletins & reports.”
