Oman’s CAA lifts all alerts of Marburg virus in civil aviation sector.
In a circular issued Civil Aviation Authority said: “All passengers arriving to the Sultanate of Oman Oman And airlines operating in the Sultanate of Oman
Reference to CAA Circular No. 1/2023-MVD dated on 30″ March 2023, regarding Marburg virus disease.
Based on the latest updates of the epidemiological situation in United Republic of Tanzania and Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and the competent authorities’ confirmation of the end of the epidemic and control of the Marburg virus disease (MVD) outbreak, and in coordination with the Ministry of Health and other competent authorities, the Civil Aviation Authority hereby informs all passengers and aircraft operators in the Sultanate of Oman that all alerts of Marburg virus (MVD) in civil aviation sector of the Sultanate of Oman are lifted.”
