

Muscat: Oman’s Covid-19 death toll passes 2000 as cases surge
Oman’s Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday it has reported 928 new cases of Covid-19 with 9 new deaths and 919 cases of recovery .
Ministry of health stated the total number of registered cases in the sultanate was 192,326 cases, and the total deaths reached 2001 deaths, while the total number of people recovered reached 171,848 cases.
The total number of patients admitted in ICU are 275 ,
Number of admissions within last 24hours are 99 cases, while total number of patients admitted to the Health institutions at 833, stated in the MOH report.
The Ministry calls on everyone to avoid group activities and gatherings, wear mask, maintain a physical distance of at least 2 meters, regularly wash hands with water and soap or clean them with a certified hand sanitizer.
