    • Oman’s Covid-19 death toll passes 3000

    Muscat: The Ministry of Health announced the registration of 2,243 new cases of coronavirus disease (Covid 19), including 1,186 Omanis, and 1,057 non-Omanis, bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 264,302 cases.

    Also, 46 ​​new deaths from the Corona virus (Covid 19) were recorded, bringing the total deaths to 3,013 cases.

    The total number of people recovering from the Corona virus in the Sultanate reached 231,718, bringing the recovery rate to 87.7%.

    The number of inpatients during the past 24 hours reached 197, bringing the total of inpatients to 1,650, of whom 506 are in intensive care units.

    The Ministry called on all citizens and residents to constantly clean hands with soap and water, avoid touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, follow healthy habits when sneezing and coughing, and fully adhere to the instructions for social and physical distancing issued by the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health.
