Oman’s Diplomatic Undersecretary Meets South Korean Official

Seoul: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs met here today with Ahn Duk-geun, Minister for Trade of the Republic of Korea.

The meeting took place within the context of Al Harthy’s visit to Korea to hold the Oman-Korea political consultations committee meeting.

The two sides reviewed aspects of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, notably in the fields of energy, trade exchange and investments.

The Korean side showed interest in Oman’s promising opportunities in the green hydrogen sector and a keenness to invest in related industries.

The two sides agreed to arrange visits for Korean businesspeople to explore investment and tourism opportunities in Oman.
