Oman’s EA issues statement on bad smell from a farm in Sinaw
Muscat: The Environment Authority (EA) issued a statement regarding what was circulated regarding the bad smell emanating from one of the farms in the Wilayat of Sinaw.
The Authority appreciated the keenness of the citizens, their communication and their efforts to preserve the Omani environment.
The Authority confirmed that it had previously issued a seizure report against the farm due to the discharge of pollutants into the surrounding environment, and the matter was referred to the Public Prosecution in preparation for referring it to the competent court in accordance with the organizing laws.
The Authority called on everyone that it will not hesitate to implement legal measures against violators and anyone who causes pollution of the Omani environment.
