Oman’s Embassy in Brazil Marks 54th National Day

Brasilia: His Excellency Talal bin Sulaiman Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil, held a reception on the occasion of the 54th National Day in the Brazilian capital, Brasilia.

In his speech, His Excellency the Ambassador referred to the historical achievements of the Sultanate of Oman since the start of the blessed Omani Renaissance in 1970 under the leadership of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said and its journey is being continued today by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said .

His Excellency the Ambassador explained that the Sultanate of Oman’s foreign policy is based on dialogue and tolerance. He also called on the international community to achieve peace in the Middle East, and stressed the Sultanate of Oman’s position in support of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

In his speech, His Excellency the Ambassador focused on the fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Federative Republic of Brazil, which witnessed remarkable progress in strategic partnerships and trade exchange.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency José Mosio Filho, Brazilian Minister of Defense, His Excellency Luiz Henrique Paulche da Costa, Secretary General of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense, Federal Representatives Clodoado Magalhaes, Marosa Boldrin, Pedro Lupión, Aguinaldo Ribeiro, and a number of businessmen, investors, media professionals, and members of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
