Oman’s Embassy in Brussels Marks 54th National Day

Brussels: Her Excellency Ambassador Ruwa bint Issa Al Zadjali, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Belgium and Head of its Mission to the European Union, held a reception on the occasion of the 54th Glorious National Day in Brussels.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Belgian and European officials from various economic, political and cultural fields, in addition to a number of ambassadors of Arab and friendly countries accredited to the European capital, Brussels. In her opening speech, Her Excellency the Ambassador spoke about the aspects of comprehensive development in the Sultanate of Oman and its economic and developmental characteristics in accordance with Oman Vision 2040.

She also reviewed an aspect of the history of official Omani-Belgian relations extending back 46 years. Her Excellency touched on the Sultanate of Oman’s policy based on dialogue, respect and cooperation, explaining that the results of the European-Gulf Summit held in the Belgian capital, Brussels, last October represented a new start for European-Gulf relations to overcome obstacles and enhance comprehensive cooperation in various fields.
