Oman’s Embassy in Jordan clarifies on viral video of graduation brawl

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman Embassy in Jordan on Sunday has issued a clarification regarding quarrel between Omani students during the graduation ceremony held at the University of Jordan.

In a statement Oman’s Embassy in Amman said: “The embassy followed up on what was circulated of a video clip of a quarrel after the graduation ceremony for Omani students studying in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and would like to clarify that it was a momentary event that was contained at the time.”

“The embassy state that it sat down with those who caused this quarrel and calls on its students to adhere to the integrity and the high morals that characterize the Omani citizen wherever he is. It confirm that Omani students receive all care and attention from the embassy and the universities in which they study,” the statement added.
