Oman’s Embassy in Kazakhstan Marks 54th National Day

Astana: His Excellency Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Bahrani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan, held a reception on the occasion of the 54th Glorious National Day in the Kazakh capital, Astana.

In his welcoming speech to the guests, His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Bahrani stressed that the Sultanate of Oman always seeks with all its energy and capabilities to contribute to serving the issues of security and peace at all regional and international levels, as it is part of this interconnected world, sharing interests and destiny with its peoples, and believing that permanent solutions cannot be achieved by force, adding that the Sultanate of Oman always calls for collective security and stability through dialogue, justice, cooperation, tolerance and the promotion of peace.

His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed Al Bahrani also stressed in his speech the depth of Omani-Kazakh relations, which are characterized by ties of friendship and increasing cooperation in various fields. This is evident through the exchange of official visits, student missions, the increase in the number of tourists between the two countries, and the rise in trade exchange, in addition to the ongoing efforts aimed at enhancing cooperation and developing economic and investment partnerships.

The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Alibek Kwantirov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Kazakh government, a number of members of the Kazakh Parliament, a number of Their Excellencies the ambassadors accredited to Kazakhstan, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps, military attachés, a number of representatives of international organizations, governmental and private institutions, university presidents and professors, and businessmen.
