Oman’s Embassy in Netherlands Marks 54th National Day

Hague: The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Netherlands today held a celebration of the 54th Glorious National Day, in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salem bin Hamad Al Harthy, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The ceremony was attended by HE Barbara Juszczys, President of the Dutch Court of Auditors, HE Hans Ackerboom, Head of Protocol at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and HE Josje Korthals, Head of the Middle East Department.

His Excellency the Ambassador Sheikh delivered a welcoming speech, during which he reviewed the pillars of Omani foreign policy, which is based on the principles of peace, dialogue and tolerance.

He also referred to the development of bilateral relations between the Sultanate and the Kingdom of the Netherlands in various fields, pointing to the rapid growth witnessed by these relations.

The ceremony included Omani national musical performances that reflected the spirit of celebration and highlighted the rich Omani culture and heritage.
