Oman’s Environment Authority issues arrest reports against tourist for littering

Muscat: The Environment Department in Al Batinah South Governorate managed to issue a arrest reports against a group of tourists who camped in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve without permission from the authority.

Within the framework of the continuous efforts made by the Environment Authority in preserving the environment and its natural components from the hands of the abusers, the Environment Department in South Al Batinah Governorate was managed to issue a number of arrest reports against a group of tourists who camped in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve without permission from the Authority

Environment Department  stated the violators left their waste in the reserve, which required specialists in the reserve to clean the site and return the reserve clean as usual.
