Oman’s exports to the European Union increased by 147%

Muscat: The European Commission said that the volume of trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union countries to about 3 billion and 255 euros in 2021.

In a recent report, it said that the EU’s imports from the Sultanate of Oman amounted to about 789 million euros last year, while its exports to Oman amounted to about 2466 million euros.

The report added that the imports of the European Union countries from the Sultanate of Oman grew during the period from 2020-2021 at a rate of 147.8%, while exports decreased by 17.4 percent.

The report also stated that the Sultanate’s exports of goods to the European Union rose from 318 million euros in 2020 to 789 million euros in 2021.
