Oman’s FDI Exceeds RO 25 billion in First Quarter of 2024

Muscat: His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy confirms that the improvement in the credit rating of the Sultanate of Oman enhances the attractiveness of the economy, reflects progress in financial stability efforts, contributes to its growth, and gives it flexibility in the face of shocks.

His Excellency told Oman News Agency: The strength of the financial position of the Sultanate of Oman is one of the most important fruits achieved by the implementation of Oman Vision 2040 and crowns its tireless efforts to strengthen its financial position, noting that the gross domestic product is expected to continue to grow during the current and next two years.

Official spokesman for the Ministry of Economy: Foreign direct investments in the Sultanate of Oman increased from RO 20.6 billion at the end of 2022 to about RO 25.4 billion  at the end of the first quarter of this year, explaining that the strength of the state’s financial position enhanced its capabilities in implementing economic and social priorities.
