Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received today at his office Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad of the Republic of Burkina Faso.
During the meeting, the two ministers affirmed the importance of strengthening ties of cooperation and coordination between the Sultanate of Oman and Burkina Faso across the diplomatic, political, cultural, economic, investment, and commercial fields, in a manner that serves the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
The meeting also reviewed opportunities to enhance future partnerships that support sustainable development, as well as ways to promote cooperation in areas of mutual priority.
In addition, both sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international developments and discussed means of supporting dialogue, understanding, and coordination on issues of mutual concern.
