Oman’s foreign Minister receives India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval

Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received today Ajit Doval, National Security Advisor of the Republic of India, who is on an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The two officials discussed strategic relations between the two countries and aspects of cooperation about promising sectors in technological, military and mining spheres. Their conversations also touched on bilateral relations in commercial, cultural and investment fields.

On behalf of the government of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr congratulated the Republic of India for successfully hosting the G20 meetings.

The officials also exchanged views about a number of current regional and international issues. They underscored their two countries leaderships’ emphasis on espousing policies of constructive dialogue and international cooperation.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighborhood Department , Amit Naranj, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from both sides. -ONA
