Muscat: Oman’s Foreign Minister receives phone from Secretary General of United National
In a statement Oman News Agency said: His Excellency Mr. Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, receives a phone call from His Excellency the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, to discuss the developments related to the Yemeni crisis and the efforts made to stop the war and military operations and resort to peaceful solutions between the parties to the conflict through direct dialogue between them in a manner that allows the entry of humanitarian and life materials for the Yemeni people
During the call, the important role of the UN Secretary-General’s envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, was also emphasized and supported his efforts and the efforts of the American administration in stopping the war and reviving political negotiations in a way that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people to achieve security and stability.
