    • Oman’s Foreign Minister Receives UN Official

    Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received here today Michael Lodge, Secretary General of the International Seabed Authority of the UN.

    The two sides reviewed opportunities of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the International Seabed Authority. They also touched on programmes of capacity building and skill honing in areas related to the law of the sea and blue economy.

    The two sides also underscored the importance of international cooperation to protect and sustain biological diversity for future generations.

    The meeting was attended by Khalid Hashel Al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and several officials from both sides.
