Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs received today Khalid Al Anani, candidate of the Arab Republic of Egypt for the position of the director general of the UNESCO.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanging views on bilateral relations between Oman and Egypt. The guest reviewed his vision for the UNESCO’s work and goals in case he wins the position during the upcoming elections.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Mohammed Radi, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman and Khalid Suleiman Ba’Omar, Head of the International Organizations Department at the Foreign Ministry. -ONA
