Muscat: The Food Safety and Quality Center launched a recall campaign for Al Hamra milk product due to the presence of agglomerations and heterogeneity of ingredients. Approximately 115,200 packages were recalled, in cooperation with the importing and distributing company.
In a statement Food Safety & Quality Center said: “The product of Al-Hamra milk (with vegetable garnish) was produced by the National Company for Food Industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, weighing 170 grams, and which bears the expiry dates 1/12/2022, 14/12/2022, 19 /12/2022, 30/12/2022, 14/5/2023, 15/5/2023, 18/5/2023.”
The center confirmed that all necessary measures were taken to ensure the safety of this product before entering the local markets, and the center urged consumers to replace the product from the sales windows, and also recommended all consumers to avoid consuming the specific product according to the dates shown above.
