Muscat : Oman’s public revenues at the end of January 2022 soared 85.2 per cent to reach RO 803.3 million, compared to the same period in 2021.
The monthly financial accounts issued by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) indicate that the state’s public spending for the month of January 2022 increased by 9.59% to reach RO 785.3 million, ( of them RO 162.4 million as public debt service provision).
According to Ministry of Finance (MoF), the state’s general budget posted a surplus of about RO 18 million in January 2022, compared to a deficit of RO 282.9 million in January 2021.
