Muscat: Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism today received members of the ten teams qualified for the final phase of the 2nd edition of Bilarab bin Haitham Award (BHA) for Architectural Design.
Al Mahrouqi lauded the creative aspects in the qualified projects. He also underscored the importance of the Maritime History Museum project and its strategic position at the Wilayat of Sur, South A’Dakhiliyah Governorate.
The designs of the project, to be implemented by the Ministry, must consider diversity of facilities and services offered to various segments and age groups, the Minister said. – ONA
