Oman’s Higher Education Ministry Announces Applicants Numbers for National Research Award

Muscat: The Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation announced today the number of applicants for the National Research Award (NRA) in its 10th edition.

The number of applicants stood at 249 in the two categories of the award. Applicants with PhD degrees (or equivalent degrees) stood at 170, while the number of applicants who are considered new researchers reached 79.

The award covers various fields, including education and human resources, information and communication systems, health and community service, as well as culture and social sciences, energy and industry and the environment. – ONA
