Oman’s Inma provided RO 20m in funding to 144 SME projects in 2022

Muscat: The total number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Sultanate of Oman which are funded by Inma Fund during 2022 stood at 144 projects in various economic sectors, with a total value of RO 20 million.

At the forefront of those sectors is industry (20%), followed by services (19%), transport and logistics (16%), infrastructure (15%), trade (10%), tourism (9%) and the oil and gas sector (8%).

The projects funded by Inma Fund in Oman’s various governorates managed to boost their production lines and provided a number of products and services to the local market, which contributed to revitalizing the economic movement and increasing cash flow.

The industry sector, which received the largest share of funding from Inma Fund in 2022, is considered one of the vital sectors in Oman that contribute to boosting the GDP.

Moreover, Inma Fund, which aims to achieve sustainable development, implements international standards, standards of the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) and standards of the Capital Market Authority (CMA). – ONA
