Oman’s Labour Ministry Signs Cooperation Programme for On-the-Job Training

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour today signed a cooperation programme with the National Technology Group to offer on-job training for national cadres.

The cooperation programme was signed by Sayyid Salim Musallam Al Busaidi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development and Hilal Hamad Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Technology Group.

Sayyid Salim Al Busaidi pointed out that the ministry is implementing various training programmes. Several programmes will be directed to governorates during 2023 to support the administrative decentralization of governorates and to offer job opportunities for Omani youth.

On his turn, Eng. Omar Mohammed Al Rasibi, CEO of the National Technology Group said that the number of trainees in the second batch reached 40. He clarified that the third batch will include approximately 60 trainees in various fields, especially in information technology.
