MERA holds first meeting for the 1446 AH season

Muscat: The Permanent Committee for Hajj Affairs held its first meeting for the 1446 AH season, headed by His Excellency Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Rashidi, Undersecretary of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

During the meeting, developments in the 1446 AH Hajj season were discussed and the timetable for the season was approved in line with the timetable for the initial arrangements document for the 1446 AH Hajj season issued by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It is noteworthy that the quota of pilgrims from the Sultanate of Oman was approved at 14,000 pilgrims.
