“Heritage and Tourism” issues a decision regarding the government committee for licensing integrated tourism complexes
Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issued Ministerial Resolution No. 1152/1/2/402/2024 amending some provisions of Ministerial Resolution No. 136/2021 forming the government committee for licensing integrated tourism complexes and its work system.
Based on the Real Estate Ownership System in Integrated Tourism Complexes issued by Royal Decree No. 12/2006, and Royal Decree No. 91/2020 amending the name of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture to the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, defining its competencies, and approving its organizational structure, and the Executive Regulations of the Real Estate Ownership System in Integrated Tourism Complexes issued by Ministerial Resolution No. 191/2007, and Ministerial Resolution No. 136/2021 forming the Governmental Committee for Licensing Integrated Tourism Complexes and its work system, and based on what the public interest requires, it is decided
Article 1
The text of Article 1 of Ministerial Resolution No. 136/2021 referred to shall be replaced by the following text:
A government committee shall be formed to license integrated tourism complexes, headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism for Tourism, and with the membership of each of:
1 – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning for Urban Planning as Vice President
2 – Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion Member
3 – Director General of Criminal Investigations and Inquiries at the Royal Oman Police, Member
4 – Director General of Planning at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism Member
5 – Director of the Environmental Planning Department at the Environment Authority Member
6 – Director of the Legal Department at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism Member
The Committee may seek the assistance of anyone it deems appropriate to attend its meetings, without having a vote.
Article Two
Anything that contradicts this decision or conflicts with its provisions shall be cancelled.
Article Three
