Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism will organize, on Monday, promotional workshops to introduce and promote the tourism potentials of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of India, which will be held in 4 major cities in the Republic of India, namely: Delhi, Jaipur, Calcutta and Mumbai, and will continue until July 31, 2023.
The promotional campaign aims to strengthen the existing relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India, highlight the rich Omani historical heritage, its scenic tourism potential, and promote attractive destinations and diverse experiences, in addition to promoting a number of tourism patterns such as weddings and events, and conference and exhibition tourism.
During the roadshow, participants from the tourism sector partners in India will have the opportunity to network with their counterparts in the Omani tourism sector, including hotels, tour operators, airlines and representatives of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism; To learn about the different travel experiences available in the Sultanate of Oman.
The promotional campaign will include presentations, interactive sessions and one-on-one meetings, providing an ideal platform for Indian tourism companies to strengthen existing relationships, establish new business partnerships and collaborations with their Omani counterparts, as well as learn about the latest developments in the Omani tourism sector, upcoming developments and special promotions.
The promotional workshops organized by the Ministry in various global tourism markets are a major part of the applied steps of the promotional strategy pursued by the Ministry, as the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism is committed to promoting the Sultanate of Oman as a tourist destination throughout the year, whether for adventure enthusiasts, nature lovers, history researchers, or those looking for luxurious havens.
The Ministry seeks, through the establishment of promotional circles, to enter and participate in the target markets, establish direct relations with them, get acquainted with their features and requirements closely, introduce travel and tourism companies and the media within these markets to the Omani tourism potential, and focus qualitatively on the marketing aspect of the Sultanate of Oman by promoting the most important products, facilities and services and marketing offers and tourism packages.
Tourism representation offices affiliated with the Ministry around the world also contribute to strengthening the presence of the Sultanate of Oman in the most important tourism markets for tourists. By implementing a number of promotional activities and programmes; To increase the tourist flow and introduce it as a tourist destination that attracts tourists, and to keep abreast of all that is new in the various tourism markets, in a way that ensures that programs and plans are compatible with the requirements of these markets.
