The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism calls on all unlicensed private museums and heritage houses to stop practicing activity until obtaining the necessary licenses to avoid taking legal measures in accordance with the Cultural Heritage Law.
In a statement Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) said: “The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism has noticed that some citizens practice the activity of establishing private museums and heritage houses without obtaining the necessary licenses, which is a violation of Article (16) of the Cultural Heritage Law issued by the Royal Decree No. 35/2019.
The Ministry calls on all unlicensed private museums and heritage houses to stop practicing the activity until Obtaining the necessary licenses to avoid taking legal proceedings in accordance with the Cultural Heritage Law”
