Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth issues ministerial decision to form New Board of Directors of Cultural Club
Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth has issued a ministerial decision forming the new Board of Directors of the Cultural Club for 3 years as follows, headed by Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Balushi as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Saud Nasser Al Hanini as Deputy Chairman. The board also comprises the following as members: Dr. Muna Habras Al-Sulaimi, Badr Salim Al-Abri, and Muawiya Salim Al-Rawahi.
Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Balushi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cultural Club, expressed his hope that the new Board of Directors will be of good faith and will succeed in providing additions that enrich the Omani cultural scene and enhance the pioneering and vital role that the Cultural Club has played since its establishment in 1983.
He said: “In the new Board of Directors, we look forward to increasing the participation of the Omani intellectual in the club’s activities, hoping that this will lead to making the club a rich, vibrant cultural environment.” He praised the great efforts made by the previous board of directors during the last period.
