Oman’s Minister of Culture sports and youth issued a ministerial decision

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tarik, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, issued a ministerial decision to form a team to prepare the organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth.

Resolution No. (2/2020) was based on Royal Decree No. (87/2020) establishing the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, defining its functions and approving its organizational structure.

Article No. (1) of the decision included the formation of a team to prepare the organizational divisions of the organizational structure headed by His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Sports and Youth, and the membership of each of:

1, Basil bin Ahmed bin Am Al Rawas, as a representative member of the General Directorate of Administrative and Financial Affairs
2, Khalifa bin Saif bin Rashid Al-Essayi, as represented by the sports sector
3, Hamad bin Salem bin Hamad Al Alawi, as represented by the youth sector
4, Ibrahim bin Saif bin Salem Bani Araba and Hilal bin Saif bin Salem al-Siyabi as representatives from the culture sector.
5, Abdul-Malik bin Nasser bin Abdullah Al-Kharousi, as member
5, Siham bint Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shabaniyah is a member and rapporteur represented by the Human Resources Department

Article No. (2) clarified the competence of the team to prepare the organizational divisions of the organizational structure, and lay down the details of the administrative divisions with the terms of reference of the administrative divisions of the ministry, provided that its work is lifted within a maximum period of two weeks from the date of this decision.

Article (3) also indicated that it is permissible to seek the assistance of whomever the team deems appropriate to assist in carrying out the tasks assigned to it.

As for Article (4), it clarified the date of work and implementation of the decision, provided that it shall be implemented from the date of its issuance and the concerned parties shall implement it.
