Oman’s Minister of Heritage and Tourism, usufruct lands will be withdrawn if laws not followed

Muscat: His Excellency Salem bin Muhammad Al-Mahrouqi , Minister of Heritage and Tourism, confirmed that the lands granted for usufruct will be reviewed.

This came in a response to His Excellency about a citizen’s question regarding a tourist land designated for use since 2009 in Bandar Al-Khairan, Al-Majhour Beach, and the project to be established there has not been completed.

In his response, His Excellency said that the necessary measures are being taken and a comprehensive review of all lands granted for usufruct will be withdrawn in the event of non-compliance with the law and procedures in force.
