Oman’s Minister of Social Development meets Kuwaiti delegation

Muscat: Dr. Laila bint Ahmed Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development, met today with a delegation from the Retired Officers Association in the State of Kuwait, which is visiting the Sultanate of Oman during these days, headed by retired Major General Faisal bin Musaed Al-Jazzaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Retired Officers Association of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, Deputy President of the International Federation of Veterans of the Middle East Group, in the Ministry’s General Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Her Excellency the Minister of Social Development welcomed the delegation of the Retired Officers Association in the State of Kuwait, stressing that this visit is of great importance, and embodies part of the depth of the existing relationship between the Sultanate of Oman and the sisterly State of Kuwait. It is also an opportunity to exchange expertise and experiences in a number of aspects and various sectors of social work.

For his part, the head of the delegation of the Retired Officers Association in the State of Kuwait expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman, appreciating the opportunity of his presence in the Ministry of Social Development as part of the visit program. The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Hassan bin Ali Al-Mujaini, Head of Moral Guidance and Military Protocols, and a number of officials of the Ministry of Social Development.
