Oman’s Ministry Inaugurates Royal Balloon Project

Muscat: Oman’s Governor of North Sharqiyah Inaugurates Royal Balloon Project in Bidiyah  

In a statement Ministry of Heritage and Tourism said: : “Under the auspices of His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Governor of North Sharqiyah, in the presence of Mr. Saeed Al Obaidani, Director General of Tourism Development in the Ministry and a number of specialists in the Department of Heritage and Tourism in North Sharqiyah Governorate, the commercial operation of the Royal Balloons Project was inaugurated.

The event took place in Al-Wasel area in the wilayat of Bidiyah, and in the presence of a number of camp owners and tourists staying in the camps. It is noteworthy that the balloon activity is being launched for the first time in the region.”
