Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology issued a “direct implementation order” for asphalt road maintenance projects in the governorates of Musandam, Al Wusta and North Al Sharqiyah for three companies specialized in the field of asphalt road maintenance.
The scope of work of these projects includes a number of works, including: repair and replacement of (iron barriers, guiding and traffic regulations, concrete barriers, reflectors, and ground paint works), in addition to the works of side protections for the road and its components, maintenance of all layers of paving and asphalt works, and other works related to asphalt roads. and its components.
Through the implementation of these projects, the Ministry aims to provide a safe road network for asphalt road users, and to maintain the sustainability of the road network in the various governorates of the Sultanate, in addition to providing safe and integrated roads that are compatible with urban and community development.
