Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion Launches investment licensing service online via “Invest Easy” portal.

In a statement said Oman news agency: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion launches the investment licensing service online via the “Invest Easy” portal, which allows all companies subject to the Foreign Capital Investment Law to obtain licenses for their projects through self-service or service delivery centers.

Her Excellency Asila bint Salim Al Samsami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Promotion and Investment, explained to the Oman News Agency that the service aims to build a digital database for the type and volume of foreign investments in the Sultanate of Oman.

Her Excellency confirms that the Ministry is seeking, during the next stage, to prepare a comprehensive strategy that focuses on the economic dimension and frames future work according to a clear methodology by focusing on the sectors of trade and industry and investment promotion in order to provide a stimulating environment for business.
