Oman’s Ministry of Commerce visits Saudi Arabia

MoCIIP Minister visits Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: HE Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP), visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation and economic relations between the two countries.

During the visit, MoCIIP Minister met with Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Saudi Minister of Investment, Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Faisal bin Fadel Al-Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning, His Excellency Engineer Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi, Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, and His Excellency Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Abdul-Jabbar, Chairman of the General Authority for Foreign Trade in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, ways of enhancing joint cooperation and developing bilateral relations between the two countries in the fields of trade, industry and investment promotion, facilitating the difficulties facing trade between them, and increasing trade exchange between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were discussed, in order to complement the efforts of the two countries towards enhancing trade exchange continuously and creating partnerships. Strategic economic development in various fields, and enhancing Omani exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Sayyed Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a number of officials from both sides.
