Muscat: The Ministry of Education issued a statement regarding the operation of public and private schools for the second semester of the academic year 2021/2022.

And it was decided in the statement, which was based on the directives of the Supreme Committee, as follows:

a. Adopting the operation of grades (1-4) in the blended education system (week by week), with the exception of low-density schools with no more than 20 students per class and managed by the direct education system 100%, while adhering to the precautionary health measures.

B. Approving the operation of schools for grades (5-11) in the direct education system, with the exception of classrooms of schools with more than 30 students per semester, and which are run by the blended education system (week by week), while adhering to the precautionary health measures.

c. The twelfth grade operates in a 100% direct education system  while adhering to the precautionary health measures.

Dr.. The hours of early education students and private schools are in accordance with the guide (Mechanisms for operating private and International Schools in the Sultanate of Oman for the academic year (2022/2021) approved by the Ministerial Resolution (192/2021) regarding the adoption of the rules and principles of the general framework for operating schools, noting that these determinants are subject to evaluation in line with the developments of the epidemiological situation.
