Oman’s Ministry of Information organizes training program entitled ‘Young Journalist’

Bidiyah: The Media Training Center at the Ministry of Information organized today a training program entitled “Young Journalist”, in cooperation with the Directorate General of Education in the Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah, represented by the Nawabigh Summer Center in the Wilayat of Bidiyah.

The program, which is implemented within the summer program for school students, “Summer of Vision and Development” in North Sharqia, aims to introduce them to the media and its role in transmitting events, events and programs, in addition to providing them with dealing with the media and training in journalistic writing skills and the arts of working in various media fields.

The training program, presented by Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mafarji, a TV cameraman at the Ministry of Information, dealt with several axes, including talking about the basic aspects in the practical field, theoretical and practical aspects, introducing the requirements of media work, and the types of news and talk programs.

The “Young Journalist” program will last for four days, and will conclude with a training seminar at the Samad Summer Center in the state of Al-Mudhaibi.
