Oman’s Ministry of Interior celebrates Gulf Nursing Day

Izki: The Directorate General of Health Services, represented by the Nursing Department, celebrated the Gulf Nursing Day at the Izki Cultural Center, which falls on 13th of March every year.

Dr. Nasser bin Abdullah Al Shukaili, Director General of Health Services in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, delivered a speech in which he pointed out the importance of the humanitarian nursing profession and the need to enhance nursing cadres with knowledge, skill and good treatment to advance the profession and its associates.

The celebration included a visual presentation of the exhibition accompanying the celebration, which includes pictures of the nursing procedures competition, in addition to presenting cultural competitions and delivering a speech by nurses.

It should be noted that the Nursing Department of Al Dakhiliyah Health recently held an awareness exhibition that included 21 corners that included various health programs run by nursing groups in various specialties in primary health care in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, with the participation of a number of governmental and private institutions and NGOs, with the aim of introducing health programs offered in various institutions.
