Oman’s Ministry organizes rural women’s projects

Khasab: The Directorate General of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in the Governorate of Musandam organized today, in cooperation with the Oman Development Bank, a “Rifi Seminar” to empower rural women’s projects for agricultural, fishery related products.

The activities of the symposium were sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Humaid Al Harthy, Governor of Khasab.

Engineer Hussain bin Ali Al Shehhi, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Khasab, praised in his speech the role played by rural women in highlighting their products and raising their quality, in addition to the role played by the Directorate General of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Musandam Governorate to empower rural women through empowerment programmes. carried out throughout the year.

Mubarak bin Rashid Al Maamari, Director of the Oman Development Bank, Khasab, gave a visual presentation in which he dealt with the bank’s services and financing programs in support of rural women’s projects. He also discussed the financing loans offered by the bank.

For his part, Ahmed bin Ali Al Shehhi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Social Insurance, Khasab, gave a visual presentation on the Social Insurance Law in the Sultanate of Oman and the Authority’s initiatives to register owners of small projects to benefit from these initiatives. .
