Oman’s Ministry receives ISRO Chairman S Somanath

Muscat: Eng. Said Hamoud Al Ma’awali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology received here today S Somanath, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of cooperation in the space sector, as well as the areas of the communications and information technology sector.

They also touched on various matters of mutual interests that serve the joint interests.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Communications and Information Technology, and a number of officials at the ministry.
