Oman’s MOF allows access to beneficiary code through Sanad centers

Muscat: The Ministry of Finance  on Tuesday announced that obtaining the services of the beneficiary code now available through Sanad Service Centers In order to facilitate the beneficiaries’ access to the system’s services, and to complete and track their transactions electronically through Sanad centers.

This comes within the framework of the agreement signed by the Ministry of Finance with the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority. In order to facilitate access to government services through Sanad centers.

The beneficiaries of this system can obtain the service of requesting a new beneficiary number or renewing a previously registered beneficiary number.

The system also allows any modification or update to beneficiary, a request for a binding letter, or follow-up on requests submitted through the system. It is noteworthy that the service of following up exchange vouchers and financial payments is one of the services provided by the beneficiary code system, and this feature enables beneficiaries to track exchange vouchers and the movement of financial credits between the contracting government agency until the transfer of financial dues to bank accounts, and the system also enables beneficiaries to track financial transfers previous.

The Ministry of Finance confirms that the beneficiary code system is still available to beneficiaries through the website of the Ministry of Finance. The system is defined as “an electronic service that enables contractors with government agencies (individuals or institutions) to obtain a reference number (the beneficiary number), through which the amounts due for their services or work are transferred.” – ONA
