Oman’s MOH signs agreement for expansion of special care baby unit in Ibra Hospital

Ibra:  The Ministry of Health represented by the Directorate General of Specialized Medical Care signed today at the Ministry’s headquarters an agreement with Al Jisr Charitable Foundation to fund the expansion of Special Care Baby Unit project in Ibra Hospital with a cost of RO 250,000.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Fatima Mohammed Al Ajmi, Undersecretary of Health Ministry for Administrative, Planning, and Financial Affairs and Nouf Al Hosni from Al Jisr Foundation.

Dr. Fatima affirmed that funding the premature babies’ unit in Ibra Hospital is highly important as the project would improve the level of services in the hospital by increasing the capacity of the unit.
