    • Oman’s MOL announces mandatory WPS for private sector establishments from 10 July 2023

    Muscat: The Ministry of Labour issued a circular implementing the Wages Protection System for private sector establishments, starting July 10, 2023.

    In accordance with Ministerial Decree No. (299/2023), all private sector establishments are hereby mandated to implement the Wages Protection System. Effective from (10/7/2023), these establishments are required to regularize their status in alignment with the aforementioned system. The outlined timeframe for compliance is provided below:
