    Oman calls for sighting of Ramadan crescent on Sunday (10 March)

    Muscat: The main committee will meet tomorrow evening, Sunday, to survey the sighting of the crescent of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1445 AH at the General Office of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

    The committee meeting is chaired by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

    The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs called on citizens and residents to investigate the sighting of the crescent moon in cooperation with field teams in the states or to communicate with the subcommittees in the offices of Their Excellencies the governors.
