Oman’s MoSD Minister Meets with Algerian Counterpart

New York: Dr. Laila Ahmed Al Najjar, Minister of Social Development today met with Kawthar Kriko, Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Issues of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.

The meeting came on the sidelines of the meetings of the 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), held in New York, the United Nations (UN) headquarters.

The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation in the area of family, women’s and children’s issues between the two countries, as well as exchanging views on several issues on the agenda of the meetings of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).

The meeting was attended by members of delegations participating in the Commission’s deliberations, Dr. Mohammed Awadh Al Hassan, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations in New York. – ONA
