Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology signed a supply chain financing agreement with the Ministry of Finance and Dunes International Company, with the aim of supporting and enabling the private sector to obtain cash liquidity, and expanding the scope of cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors.
The agreement also aims to raise the rates of efficiency and financial solvency of the private sector and enhance its financial position, in addition to improving the management of cash liquidity and facilitating the payment of dues of private sector companies contracting with government units.
The agreement was signed by the Ministry, Fahd bin Salem Al Hinai, Director General of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Zahir bin Marhoon Al Abri, Director General of Treasury and Accounts, and Musallam bin Hashel Al Ameri, Director General of Projects, on the part of the Ministry of Finance.
