Oman’s Municipality paves internal roads in the town of Bahla

Bahla: The Municipality of A’Dakhiliyah, represented by the Bahla Municipality Department, has started implementing the project of paving internal roads in the wilayat as part of the second package of governorate development projects that was announced last April.

Fawzi bin Suleiman Al-Amri, Director of the Bahla Municipality Department, says: “The project will include paving 32 kilometers of internal streets in each of: the state center, Al-Saad district, Bilad Seet, plans of Yahi Al-Murr, Tawi Al-Nisf, Al-Ghafat, Wadi Al-Ala, Seefam and Al-Aqeer, and it will also include paving internal roads in the areas of Sih Al-Maashi and Dan Mapes, Al-Areja, Ndadan, and the Cent region.

He added: The paving will include shoulders, protections, water crossings and breakers, at an estimated cost of (2.585.856) million Omani riyals, and it is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2024.

The project will contribute to facilitating traffic on the internal roads of the villages and regions of Bahla, which will add ease of movement for residents as well as an aesthetic view of the surrounding environment.
